Qtopia Sydney is located at 301 Forbes Street, Darlinghurst on Gadigal land.
We are situated in the heart of the Darlinghurst Cultural Hub, just steps from Oxford Street.
Qtopia Sydney spreads its stories across four beautiful venues in this area including The Substation and Toilet Block in Taylor Square, The Bandstand located in Green Park at 301 Victoria Street, Darlinghurst and of course, our main hub at 301 Forbes Street.
Ticket offices are located only at 301 Forbes Street so please ensure that you begin your journey there.
Tickets are sold in two hour blocks but entry is permitted within that window whenever it suits you. We recommend leaving yourself at least an hour in the exhibitions, however, tickets are untimed and we encourage you to take your time and engage with the exhibitions and the rich history that they hold.
Additional information is available throughout your visit via QR codes. We recommend bringing your phone with you for the optimal experience and ask that it is put on silent whilst in the exhibition space.

Qtopia Sydney is located close to Sydney’s CBD, with multiple options for public transport.
Bus lines 200, 311, 333, 396 and 440 stop near Qtopia Sydney. The walk from both Kings Cross and Museum Stations is approximately 15 minutes in duration.

Street parking is largely ticketed. Parking is available in St Vincent’s Hospital car park, a 5 minute walk from Forbes Street Darlinghurst. Wilson Carpark at 70 Riley Street is a 10 minute walk from Qtopia Sydney.

Your ticket includes entry to the Substation and Toilet Block exhibitions as well.
Please note, these spaces are accessible via stairs only.
The Toilet Block exhibition is open only to visitors 18 years+. ID may be requested prior to entry.

Qtopia Sydney’s goal is to be fully accessible as we grow over time.
Exhibitions within the main building of Qtopia Sydney (301 Forbes Street) are wheelchair accessible and accessible bathrooms are available.
Performances at the Loading Dock Theatre are similarly accessible.
At this time, The Bandstand, The Substation and Toilet Block are all accessible via stairs only.
Subtitles are featured on all digital material in the Main Building and Substation.
The Loading Dock Theatre features a Hearing Loop for patrons wishing to use it.
Exhibition entry is free to those who hold a Companion Card and are assisting a ticket holder as a carer. Carer’s free entry is processed upon arrival at Qtopia Sydney on presentation of a Companion Card.
