Kylie Minogue & Queer Devotion celebrated the longstanding cultural relationship between Kylie Minogue and LGBTQIA+ communities. The exhibition traces Minogue’s career from early pop stardom to her position as a globally recognised queer icon and ally.

Through archival material, memorabilia, and moving-image content, the exhibition documents key moments in Minogue’s engagement with queer audiences, including her appearances at Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, her advocacy during the HIV/AIDS crisis, and her continued public support for LGBTQIA+ visibility. The exhibition also considers the role of pop idolisation within queer culture, situating fan devotion as a form of identification, resilience, and community connection.

By placing Minogue’s work within a broader cultural context, the exhibition reflects on music, celebrity, and solidarity as forces shaping queer identity and belonging across generations.
